About gSharkDown

gSharkDown is a easy to use Gtk-based desktop application for the Linux operating system, developed to play and download music from the grooveshark webservice. It is well integrated in the GNOME desktop and is build on top of the groove.py library from the groove-dl application from jacktheripper51 hosted @ github.

This application is not meant to be used as replacement of grooveshark. The downloaded mp3 files may be illegal in some countries, so please check that low question for your country. We (the developers of gSharkDown) are not resposible for any violations this script does to Grooveshark's TOS. It is a proof of a concept that such player can exist for the desktop.
